Bathroom smells: The next generation

Tonight at work, slowly but surely, the office was over powered a mysterious, but somehow still familiar, scent. No one could place the smell, or its origins, and 3 hours into my shift people finally starting commenting on it, wondering what it was, and what was causing it.

Likened to a Sharpie high, the effects of the odor were initially pleasant. That funny buzz you get after your first 2 student council posters are done. Then it morphed into an all-consuming, faint-worthy stench. That funny buzz you get after your next 15 student council posters are done.

It was finally determined that the aroma was coming from the 2nd floor bathrooms. Despite what I’m sure was inferred from my title, the scent was not natural, but was the result of a paint job in the lavs.

Remedy: A dab of Dolce & Gabbana cologne under the nose, courtesy of the Sephora samples of my neighboor.
